One of the main attractions of summer, at nightfall, is the nautical parade with the election of the queen and the flower battle !

A beautiful staging all in sound and light offered on the quai Rouget de l’Isle. A good family moment in perspective …

During the festive season, you will not spend a day or evening without entertainment: craft fair, concerts, aperitifs, traditional meals or balls …

The Avignon festival

The city of Avignon is nicknamed “the city of the Popes” because of its past linked to the presence of the Popes from 1309 to 1423.

Despite the years that have passed, Avignon preserves to this day its churches and convents, its palaces such as the Roure palace, its monuments, its ramparts and of course the Popes’ Palace with the Rocher des Doms and the Avignon bridge also called “the “St Bénézet” bridge.

Avignon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (the Palais des Papes and the Pont d’Avignon, the Place du Palais with the baroque facade of the Mint, the Petit Palais museum and the Doms cathedral, the ramparts since the Doms garden to the Bridge).
